Troubleshooting client

Back to SCCM - System Center

Look for the device on Assets and Compliance \ Overview \ Devices


On client it must show entry on control panel


on cliente: restart service CCMExec - SMS Agent Host

rebuild c:\windows\system32\wbem\repository:

pause service service Windows Management Instrumentation

delete folder, then resume + restart


logs on c:\windows\ccmsetup\logs On ClientIDManagerStartup.log look for CcmSetup is exiting with return code 7 or 0 / client is registered ... ClientID is GUID xxx

On PolicyAgent.log look for Applied 19 policies successfully

On LocationServices.log look for Default Management Points from MP: server name


Check connectivity (ping/firewall)

Disable Firewall


from server try to reinstall via: right client on device - Install Client (select uninstall)

or from client c:\windows\ccmsetup\ccmsetup.exe /uninstall (and delete folder c:\windows\ccm)

or uninstall using CCMClean.exe then install from \\server\C$\ProgramFiles\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Client
